This is a serving tray made with walnut sides, and a white oak bottom with walnut veneer and ambrosia maple accents. The inlay uses poplar, purple heart, with a hard maple surround. The tray is about 12″x18″.

This closeup image shows more detail for the inlay.  Each leaf is made from two pieces of poplar, with the wood grain oriented to evoke natural veining.  The green color of the poplar is natural. The brown material that makes up the vine and provides accents on the elements of inlay, is Elmers brand wood filler.
