Laying on veneers

The firs t veneer layer is put in place. To insure a tight fit, each veneer must be marked and trimmed to abut its neighbor.
The second layer goes on, at right angles to the first. Epoxy is rolled on and staples are used to hold the veneer in place while the epoxy cures.

After three layers are put down, and epoxy sets, the result is a rigid compound curved structure that will be cut to size and comprise one half of a hull.
